Two people, one shed, and a shared belief that the most meaningful things are made slowly, by hand, with love.
We're a husband-and-wife team living on the edge of a small town in Eastern Oklahoma. Christopher carves pipes and forges items from bone and metal; Mary makes fairy bonnets, spell jars, and hat pins. Together we create bookmarks, jewelry, wands, and potions among other things.
We started Faerie Bones because we wanted to make things that felt like they belonged in a story — objects with weight and warmth, that carry a little of the forest with them wherever they go.
Everything is made in our garden workshop, one piece at a time. We hope something here finds its way to you.
We don't rush. Every piece is made one at a time, by hand, in our own time. We believe the patience of the maker lives inside the object. Our vision is to create a world where everyone has access to a bit of magic.
We use what the forest offers — wood, leather, bone, beeswax, dried botanicals. We try to keep things as hand crafted as possible, and enjoy incorporating found objects whenever we can.
Most of what we make is one-of-a-kind. If you want something specific, we love commissions. Tell us your dream and we'll carve it into being. Our team is made up of experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. We collaborate with additional local artists, so keep any eye on the inventory for some special access to other handcrafted pieces you may not find anywhere else.
